Overview: Congressman Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) was elected in November 2018 and sworn into office on January 3rd to represent the PA-14 district.  He is a Navy veteran and a former member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing the 37th district and  Foreign Affairs and Judiciary Committees.  
 
Prior to service as  State Senator, Guy was a district judge and served in the US Navy Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps during the Iraq War.  Cong Reschenthaler graduated from Penn State Erie, the Behrend College, in 2004 with a BA in PoliSci. then went on to attend Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, earning his JD in 2007.  He later interned with the US District Attorney's office in the Western District of PA in Pittsburgh.  After law school he served in the US Navy after which he returned to Pittsburgh to practice law.
