Overview: GRA is privileged to announce another of its “Meet the Member” events for 2018 – a continuing series of opportunities to meet and hear from leading Members of the US Congress.
Come join your GRA colleagues on Wednesday, February 14th at 8:30am as GRA hosts a breakfast meeting with Cong. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) -- a key member of the House Appropriations Committee. Cong. Cuellar currently serves on the House Appropriations Committee’s subcommittees on Defense, and Homeland Security.
Cong. Cuellar served as a Texas State representative from Laredo for 14 years. He graduated from Georgetown University in 1978, going on to earn a Master’s degree in International Trade from Texas A&M in 1982, and later a PhD in Government from UT Austin in 1998. Since coming to Congress in 2005, he has consistently demonstrated leadership on the many key issues affecting Texas, including national security, homeland security and border security.
