Cong. Ezell attended night school at the University of Southern Mississippi to earn a degree in Criminal Justice while he served with the Pascagoula Police Dept. He subsequently graduated from the MS Law Enforcement Training Academy and the FBI National Academy. Cong. Ezell is a career law enforcement officer who prior to being elected to the House also served as the Sheriff of Jackson County.
