Overview:  

GRA is pleased to announce yet another in its series "Meet the Member" where we connect a leading Member of Congress with our GRA colleagues.  Please join us as we host Cong. Dan Mueser (PA-09) for breakfast on Thursday July 30th at 8:30am.

Cong. Meuser attended New York Maritime University and studied economics at Cornell University on a Navy ROTC scholarship.  He then joined Pride Mobility Products -- a small healthcare manufacturer and helped to grow it into an industry leader and major employer in PA.  He served as president of Pride for 7 years.  In 2011, Gov.-elect Tom Corbett nominated Dan to serve as the Secretary of Revenue where he instituted reforms to make it more efficient.  In 2018 he ran for Congress and was sworn as the member representing PA-09 in January 2019.

Currently, Cong Meuser serves on 3 key committees:

House Education and Labor Comm. (HELP sub.; Higher Ed sub.)

House Budget Committee

House Veterans Affairs Committee (subs on Health; Economic Opportunity)
