Overview:   GRA is pleased to announce our next “Meet the Member” event – Cong. Gil Cisneros (CA-39) as we enjoy lunch with colleagues on Tuesday October 22nd at noon.  GRA is also pleased to co-host this event with our friends at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus’ Bold PAC.
 
Cong. Cisneros serves on:
House Armed Services Committee (Military Personnel, Vice Chair; Seapower)
House Veterans Affairs Committee
 
Cong. Cisneros served in the US Navy as a supply officer for 11 years, and earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from GW University, and his MBA from Regis University.  He is both a Member of Congress and a philanthropist, establishing endowments for scholarships for Latino students at GW and the University of Southern California (USC).  He also earned his Master of Arts from Brown University.
 
Cong. Cisneros announced his candidacy for Congress in 2017, and won in the November 2018 mid-terms to represent his district which includes portions of Orange County, LA County and San Bernadino County.  He is a staunch advocate for our national defense and for our service members & veterans – therefore, he was pleased to be assigned to the House Armed Services and Veterans Affairs Committees.
