Meet the Member: Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler

Overview:  GRA is pleased to announce yet another in its series "Meet the Member" where we connect a leading Member of Congress with our GRA colleagues.  Please join us as we host Cong. Vicky Hartzler (MO-04) for breakfast on Tuesday April 28th at 8:00am. 

Cong. Hartzler is a farmer, mother and former school teacher, who earned her BS in Education from the Univ. of Missouri, and her Master's in Education from the Univ. of Central Missouri.  She taught family and consumer sciences in Lebanon and Belton, Missouri for 11 years before being elected to the Missouri General Assembly as a State Representative in 1994. 
 

She later ran for and was elected to the US Congress in 2010 where she now serves on 2 key committees:

House Armed Services Committee (subs on Tactical Air & Land; Seapower)

House Agriculture Committee (subs on Livestock & Foreign Ag; Biotechnology, Horticulture & Research)
