Overview: GRA is pleased to host our next event in the series “Meet the Member” in which we invite a leading Member of Congress to “break bread” with our GRA association members. Please join us as we host Cong. John Curtis (UT-03) for breakfast on Friday July 10th at 9:00am.
Cong. Curtis attended Brigham Young University and graduated with his BS in business management in 1985. After gradation he worked for a number of years in the private sector before deciding to run for Mayor of Provo, Utah where he served from 2010-2017. There he focused on, among other issues, economic development and the revitalization of downtown Provo. He subsequently ran for Congress in November 2017 in a special election to replace the retiring Jason Chaffetz.
Cong Curtis serves on two great committees:
House Foreign Affairs Committee (Subcommittees on Asia & Pacific, and Western Hemisphere)
House Natural Resources Committee (Subcommittees on National Parks, and Indigenous Peoples)
