Overview:  GRA is pleased to announce another event in its "Meet the Member" series as we host Cong. Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL) for breakfast on Wednesday, July 22nd.

Cong. Krishnamoorthi is a member of the House Committees on:

Oversight & Reform, 

Permanent Select Comm. on Intelligence.

Cong Krishnamoorthi obtained his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton in 1995, and his JD from Harvard Law in 2000.  He subsequently clerked for a federal judge before practicing law in Chicago.  While in Chicago he was appointed by the Illinois Attorney General as a Special Assistant Attorney General, and served as a member of the Illinois Housing Development Authority where he chaired its Audit Committee.

Elected to Congress in 2017, Cong. Krishnamoorthi has become a leader on such issues as protecting Social Security and Medicare, making college more affordable, and seeking access to paid sick and parental leave.
